It is proposed to provide a driveway access on to Church Walk. This will comply with design standards in terms of width, visibility and provision for turning into and out of the site, and will allow for existing on-street parking to be maintained.
The scheme includes 43 parking spaces. The majority of these will be created at lower ground floor level, with 11 at street level. This level of parking accords with the requirements of the London Plan and local parking standards.
Disabled parking will be provided along with suitable provision for charging electric vehicles. To prevent further pressure being added to the local parking numbers, new residents will be prevented from applying for permits to park.
Refuse and recycling will be stored within a dedicated area on the ground floor of the building. The bins will be moved outside the building for collection by the management company. Once collected the bins will be promptly returned to the storage area within the building.
