The landscape strategy for the Church Walk site seeks to reinforce the architectural proposals by reflecting the sites surrounding context and character. This is summarised below:

Existing landscaping along Church Walk

With a mix of hard landscaping for vehicular access and soft landscaping to enhance the street scene along Church Walk, this space will include the retention and enhancement of existing mature trees, along with additional planting.

Terraces

Both townhouses and apartment buildings will enjoy private terraces, with a mix of hard and soft landscaping. 

Green space

A communal garden is allocated to those residing in the apartment building, which will include informal play space, planting and mown lawns. All the townhouses have private gardens.

Buffer zone along southern boundary

The southern boundary will have a mix of trees, shrubs and planting to protect the privacy of both the proposed scheme and the existing houses that aback the site on Lyndale Avenue.
